The session, themed "Understanding Mental Health: Breaking Barriers and Knowing When to Seek Help," was facilitated by Mrs Misturah Adebayo, Director of Mental Health Education at HealthyMinds, alongside Miss Kasheefat Lawal, a member of the HealthyMinds team. Together, they delivered informative presentations and guided discussions that helped participants gain a deeper understanding of mental health and wellbeing.

Participants described the workshop as interactive, educative and informative. Through lively discussions, questions, and shared experiences, attendees explored common mental health challenges, recognised the importance of early intervention, and learned practical ways to support their mental wellbeing and that of others.

A highlight of the workshop was the active participation of attendees, who shared valuable insights and reflections throughout the session. Many expressed appreciation for the safe and welcoming environment and indicated their eagerness to attend future HealthyMinds programmes.

To recognise their participation and commitment to learning, certificates were presented to the attendees at the end of the workshop. The event concluded with a group photograph, capturing moments of connection, learning, and shared commitment to mental health awareness.

In his closing remarks, Project Manager, Peter Ategbese, expressed gratitude to all participants for their enthusiasm, engagement, and contributions to the success of the event.
